(L.A.) David Saltman, 39, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office identified the man as David Saltman.
Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 190 pounds
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:40 a.m.
The decedent was hit by three vehicles in the 2600 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, near Molino Avenue.
Long Beach PD said he was crossing PCH outside of a crosswalk.
The first vehicle to hit him did not stop. The second vehicle was a 2017 Kia Sportage, whose driver did pull over and called 911. While first responders were on their way, Saltman was struck again — by a white truck, which ended up dragging the body east on Molino. The truck’s driver did not stop either.
David Andrew Saltman had multiple arrests for public intoxication, use/possession of narcotic substances, and theft in various jurisdictions of the Southland.
