Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Rhines.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP DAVID RHINES (December 7, 1969 – October 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
