Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as David Lepe Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Heroin and Methamphetamine

RIP DAVID LEPE JR. (December 20, 1972 – March 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:09 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
