(L.A.) David Colberg, 19, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as David Colberg of Palmdale.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death: Fluoxetine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Fluoxetine, sold under the brand name Prozac, among others, is an antidepressant medication of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class used for the treatment of major depressive disorder, anxiety, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, and bulimia nervosa.

The medical examiner was unable to conclude as to whether this was an accidental or suicidal death.
