Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Carranza.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:02 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
