The Government of Los Angeles County has announced the death of a 19-year-old male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darrion Eason and listed his race/ethnicity as Black.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:29 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 25/26, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
