(L.A.) Darren Rice, 54, Died at a Freeway Underpass

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a freeway underpass.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darren Rice.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP DARREN RICE (December 4, 1968 – September 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
