Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Danny Short.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:50 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
