(L.A.) Daniel Shows, 48, Died in a Homeless Shelter

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a homeless shelter.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Shows.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Asthma

RIP DANIEL SHOWS (August 7, 1974 – July 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
