(L.A.) Daniel Rodriguez, 43, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred on a beach in San Pedro.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Injuries

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Alcohol

RIP DANIEL RODRIGUEZ (July 3, 1980 – May 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. The decedent was drunk.

His body was recovered from the bottom of the cliffs near Point Fermin on May 11. Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:38 a.m. to 735 W. Paseo Del Mar.
