Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male who passed away in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was riding a pocket bike when he was hit by a vehicle. This is the only non-teen death on a pocket bike that we know of in the county. Past fatalities had been kids from 13 to 18 years of age.
