(L.A.) Daniel Jijon, 28, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Jijon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP DANIEL G. JIJON (April 25, 1995 – August 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:10 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
