Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred at a convenience store.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Garcia.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Daniel Garcia” in public records.

The individual above appears to be the gangbanger known as F Dome of the Florencia Sureños / Hyde Park Locos gang. He was gunned down on Christmas Eve about an hour before midnight. His daughter is believed to have been with him at the time of his passing.

Incident location was the FLOW Center at 6430 West Boulevard, on the corner with Hyde Park Boulevard in the City of L.A. 90043.


Florencia 13 (F13), also known as South Side Florencia 13 or Florence Gang, is a longstanding Mexican-American street gang originating from the Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles.

Hyde Park falls within F13’s broader territorial influence in South LA, where the gang has historically controlled drug spots, extortion, and violence.

The gang’s core turf centers on Florence Avenue but extends into adjacent areas like Hyde Park through alliances with the Mexican Mafia and Sureño networks.

F13 engages in drug trafficking (including fentanyl), murder, assaults (often racially motivated against African-Americans), robbery, and extortion, with strong ties to the Mexican Mafia prison gang that dictates street operations. Federal raids, like Operation Joker’s Wild in 2007 and recent 2024 arrests, targeted their South LA activities, including the 2022 killing of an LAPD officer.
