Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a street in Pomona.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cynthia Garcia.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

RIP CYNTHIA GARCIA (March 21, 1990 – August 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:41 p.m.

Officers from the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau responded to Garey Avenue and Pearl Street at 10:34 p.m. where they found that the motorcycle that the decedent was driving had hit the sidewalk at Garey.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were called to the scene where they pronounced her dead.
