(L.A.) Curtis Thom, 55, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in front of a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Curtis Thom.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine (PCP)

RIP CURTIS THOM (July 27, 1969 – May 18, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:37 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early July, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
