Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred on a street in in downtown L.A.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Curtis Hosea.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday morning.

The decedent was crossing Hill Street in a wheelchair when he was hit by a pickup truck at around 2:00 a.m.
