Study: Pfizer mRNA Shot Affects Sperm Count, Volume and Concentration
A peer-reviewed Israeli study published in Andrology on Friday has as its title “Covid-19 vaccination BNT162b2 temporarily impairs semen concentration and total motile count among semen donors.”
Despite their semen volume and motility remaining stable, sperm donors in Israel saw a reduction in sperm concentration for three months after injection with synthetic mRNA.
BNT162b2 vaccination included two doses, and vaccination completion was scheduled 7 days after the second dose.
The retrospective longitudinal multicenter comparison used 220 samples from three sperm banks.
Authors of the research write in their conclusion: “Long-term prognosis remains good.”
Seems like the authors took advantage of the Median vs Average differences to suggest that everything was fine 150 days after vaccination.
Is it really so?
Median disadvantages:
"Median is not affected by very large/very small values."
