(L.A.) Corey Alderson, 55, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Corey Alderson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Exertion

RIP COREY ALDERSON (March 16, 1969 – June 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
