(L.A.) Cooper Baum, 22, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Cooper Baum.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.
Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
