Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Clarence Jones.

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:14 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 24, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
