Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Asian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Chulaih Ang, resident of Isabelle Place in Carson.

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:51 p.m.

The decedent was an ILWU dockworker who was fatally struck by a transtainer (a crane that handles containers) at a container terminal in the Port of Long Beach.
