(L.A.) Christopher Watson, 32, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred on a street in the Harvard Park area.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Christopher Watson.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:28 p.m.
The decedent was apparently shot to death after an argument with another man in the 1500 block of West 71st Street.

Patrol units from LAPD’s 77th Division responded to reports from neighbors shortly before 11:30 p.m. regarding a man down on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of West 71st Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a male down with gunshot wounds. LAFD paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Note that there are multiple decedents named “Christopher Watson” in public records.
