(L.A.) Chris Joe, 28, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Chris Joe.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP CHRIS JOE (September 7, 1994 – June 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:40 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
