(L.A.) Chijioke Isamade, 35, Died at the Metropolitan Detention Center

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male who passed away at a prison/correctional facility, namely the MDC in downtown L.A.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Chijioke Isamade.
STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.
Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

The decedent’s name is Nigerian. He was in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center, located at 535 North Alameda Street in the 90012.
