(L.A.) Cheryl Reaves, 64, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Cheryl Reaves.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP CHERYL REAVES (June 29, 1960 – May 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
