(L.A.) Cheryl Lunbeck, 70, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cheryl Lunbeck.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP CHERYL LUNBECK (January 22, 1954 – June 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
