Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Chengli Li.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP CHENGLI LI (June 4, 1982 – June 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:28 a.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Chengli Jiangsu.
