Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a public bathroom.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Chad Swegle.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

RIP CHAD SWEGLE (December 21, 1991 – July 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
