Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old female that occurred at a hotel.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Carolina Medina and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic + Black.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Acetyl Fentanyl, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Recent Phencyclidine Use

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s place of death as an inn.
