(L.A.) Carmen Matters, 43, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Carmen Matters.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Congestive Heart Failure

RIP CARMEN MATTERS (October 28, 1979 – July 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 5, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
