(L.A.) Carlos Estrada Barrera, 39, Died From Fentanyl Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Estrada Barrera.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:38 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The government investigator Elisa Azeredo had initially spelled the decedent’s surname as Berrera.
