(L.A.) Carlos Esquivel Millan, 36, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at a transient encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Esquivel Millan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:38 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
