Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Diaz-Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP CARLOS DIAZ-HERNANDEZ (January 26, 1983 – July 16, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:10 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 16 the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
