Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Carla Gutierrez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:25 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
