(L.A.) Carl Zephyr, 63, Died From Overdosing on Coke

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carl Zephyr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
