(L.A.) Bryce Tompkins, 40, Died on a Public Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a public sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bryce Tompkins.

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
