Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Black male that occurred while in the custody of a law enforcement agency.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Bryan Bostic of Compton. Born in L.A. County.
Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 240 pounds

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine
RIP BRYAN EDWIN TARRELLE BOSTIC (October 29, 1988 – March 10, 2026)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday. The deputy medical examiner who conducted the autopsy was Dr. Sarah Edminster.
The decedent was in the custody of the Inglewood Police Department after a traffic stop when he died. He had an extensive criminal history with arrests for robbery, shoplifting and drug offenses.
He had just been booked by LAPD at 57th/ Central on February 27 for the following:
- 11350(A)(1) – Possession of Controlled Substance
- 243.9(A) – Confined Person Committing Battery by Throwing Human Excrement or Other Bodily Substances
He was released on March 2.
