Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a shed in the backyard of a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bruce Stiff.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine and Methadone

RIP BRUCE STIFF (February 22, 1961 – July 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:28 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
