Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brigido Vargas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage, Liver Cirrhosis

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
