(L.A.) Brian Hoppe, 43, Died From Recreational Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brian Hoppe.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine and Fentanyl

RIP BRIAN HOPPE (July 14, 1981 – August 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:10 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
