The coroner’s office identified the man as Brian Coffin. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP BRIAN JERMAINE COFFIN (June 13, 1984 – September 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent was shot in the Fashion District of downtown L.A.

LAPD said the shooting happened at around 5 a.m. in the area of 11th and Los Angeles streets.
