Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Brian Brownson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Methamphetamine and Opiate Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Bacterial Endocarditis; Congestive Heart Failure; Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease; Diabetes Mellitus; Obesity

RIP BRIAN BROWNSON (March 4, 1973 – March 18, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:05 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
