The coroner’s office identified the woman as Brandy Edge.

Hair: Blonde / Eyes: Blue

Height: 5 feet 6 inches / Weight: 115 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: End-Stage Renal Disease

Cause of Death B: Type 2 Diabetes

Other Significant Conditions: Cocaine Use, Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Cocaine can cause both acute kidney injury and contribute to chronic renal damage. The main mechanisms are severe vasoconstriction and high blood pressure, plus rhabdomyolysis, renal infarction, thrombotic microangiopathy, vasculitis, and oxidative stress.
