RIP BLAKE CIPOLLA (November 29, 2003 – April 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
