(L.A.) Bernadette Sanchez, 66, Died in Transitional Housing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in transitional housing.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Bernadette Sanchez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
