(L.A.) Atari Booker, 43, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Atari Booker.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Methamphetamine and History of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:21 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
