Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black female that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Asia Peterson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ASIA PETERSON (May 17, 1989 – August 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was made public on November 20.
