(L.A.) Armando Ruiz, 50, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Armando Ruiz. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Padilla.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Leg

Other Significant Condition: Dilated Cardiomyopathy

RIP ARMANDO RUIZ (January 28, 1975 – November 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday afternoon.

The decedent was shot by his brother inside a pickup truck stopped at an intersection in Lakewood on Thanksgiving afternoon after a verbal altercation between the two escalated. This happened at around 2:37 p.m.

Both were Lakewood locals born in L.A. County and both had the same mother. They were full brothers.

Antonio Junior is currently locked up at Men’s Central Jail with bail set at 4,150,000 dollars. The 48-year-old stands 6 feet 3 inches and weighs 230 pounds. Next court date: December 4
