Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Arlene Peters.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alcohol and Diphenhydramine

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Alcoholism

RIP ARLENE PETERS (September 2, 1969 – December 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:39 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late February.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
