(L.A.) Ariel Roberts, 17, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Ariel Roberts.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

• Watts, South LA • 11.08.2023
• At approximately 11am, LAPD and LAFD responded to a reported shooting near 319 E 113th Street in Watts, South Los Angeles. Officials arrived and located a 17-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say this was a targeted attack and there are possibly two Hispanic or Black male suspects who remain outstanding. They were seen fleeing in a light colored sedan down 113th Street toward San Pedro Street.
